Austin decided to spend half his meager savings on a camera, computer, and some editing software, even though he had no idea how to use any of it. A few mistakes, a couple successes, and hundreds of hours in the editing suite later, Austin knows that “good storytelling is more important than the sickest slow-motion footage. The best stories are those that reveal moments of raw and pure emotion, unaltered by the pervasive sarcasm and subdued expression of daily life.
